I am looking for the ancestors of Lydia Mosholder, born 17 July 1811, Sumerset Co. PA, died 6 March 1889 in La Grange Co., IN. She is buried in the Miller Cemetery near Shipshewana IN. She married John P. Gohn bef. 1832. John was born 29 May 1806, Summerset Co PA. He died 25 December 1888 in La Grange Co. IN. They had 10 children. Jeramiah, Isabelle, T. A.. Edward. Elizabeth Anne, Johannes, Chauncey Fremont , Mary, Daniel and Samuel. I am a matrilineal descendant of Lydia Mosholder. I have had my mitochondrial DNA tested and I would like to follow Lydia’s maternal lines back as far as I can. If anyone is interested in the DNA information please contact me. I have a family web page with many descendants of Lydia and John Gohn listed. <www.luciefield.net>
