Looking for a Birth/Death certificate..

Would I be able to find a bc/Dc for someone who was born in Lima in 1838?? or 1847???

I think I found my Moore family on 1840 & 1850 census..

Now need to prove they are who I think they are...

All I really know (from the census)is the Father was born in Ireland and was living in Lima in 1850. He was married and had 3 children, one who's date I know, the others are assumable years...

I think the wife died betwen 1847-1850 but do know know her name.. My ancestor was the only daughter of the family, who got married in 1856 and moved to MI. She died in 1878 and no luck as of yet in finding her obit, if one was written, being most of the family died in the yellow fever epidmic of 1878.

Not finding any of them in 1880 census and thinks the sons might have died in the CW, one was of age. Think the father died in 1860.

Any suggestion where to start digging..

Tks in advance
