Need the names of parents and siblings of Martin BUSSERT / BUZZARD / BASSERT / BUSSARD born betw. 1825-1830 in Fairfield County, Ohio. He married Mary Jane MATTIX / MATTOX 19 Oct. 1852 in Kosciusko County, Indiana. They were living in Seward Township, Kosciusko County, Indiana during the 1860 Federal Census. They were the parents of six (6) girls: Eliza Jane (my great-grandmother), Mary A., Nancy A., Adaline, Manday and Libby BUSSERT / BUZZARD / BASSERT / BUSSARD.

Martin BUSSERT / BUZZARD / BASSERT died 22 July 1864 in No. 3 U.S.A. General Hospital in Nashville, TN during the Civil War. Service papers state that his widow and children were living in Palestine, Indiana (which county?) at the time of his death. What became of the widow and children of Martin BUSSERT / BUZZARD / BASSERT?

If anyone has information regarding the above, please contact me, Janet A. Nelson, at: Thanks in advance.
