I have a Christian F Snoke I have a date born 13 Sep 1839 Indiana died same date of 29 May 1900 -- however I may have "assumed" the same individual.
I have him married to Susannah Bechtelheimer (b 16 Mar 1839 Kosciusko Co, IN and died before 1883) m 9 Sep 1858 in Kosciusko Co, In. She is mentioned as being deceased at time of her father's (Simeon Bechtelheimer) estate, he died 21 Apr 1883 in Kosciusko Co.
Susannah had children mentioned as Simeon's grandchildren: Lavinia (b 1859), Rhese (b 1863), Bertha (b 1870 d 1938 m William Hull), and William Amos.
I have no first hand information other than the census for 1850 and 1860 listing Susannah as a child, photocopy of her marriage record and a photocopy of Simeon's estate record from "Court of Common Plea" showing his heirs.
Simeon Bechtelheimer is my 3rd great grandfather so I would be interested if you find this is a connection for you. (v.miles@comcast.net)
