My records indicate that James I. Poulson was the husband of Mary Harrison.

James's parents were Samuel and Polly Julia (Gist) Poulson. Samuel was born 1782 in Frederick Cty, MD, the second child of James and Rachel (Durbin) Poulson and grandson of Andrew W. and Prudence (Evans) Poulson of Frederick Cty, MD. Samuel and Polly probably accompanied his parents to Harrison Cty, OH in 1809 when James, the father, purchased his land.

Samuel and Polly had 8 other children: Joshua J. W., Thomas, Allen, Samuel, Jr., Sarah, Rachel, Susan and Polly I.

Have extensive files on Samuel's ancestry which can forwarded if desired from Ralph Poulson, rpoul@worldnet.att.net.
