Marty, I believe that I am also decended from the Dewarts as well. I am unclear as to what my connection is but my family has owned land on the lake for many years. Our property is next to the Quaker camp, to the left of the camp looking from the water. Actually the land the quaker camp is on was our land until my Great Grandfather sold it to them. Currently my Aunt and Uncle own the house on the land and my father owns the land next to it. I will have to get my Father to reply to this board to explain my families connection to the Dewarts. I think, but may be mistaken, that my great grandmothers madien name was Dewart.
