Sue,

My husband's great-aunt was Cora Smith. She married John Robinson/Robison in Elkhart County, IN in 1896. His parents were John Robinson and Phebe A. Roby according to their marriage application (her first marriage - his second). John was listed as 41 at next birthday, which means he was born about 1855/56.

There is a John (42)and Phebe (40)Robison in the Elkhart County census in Harrison Twp. with 5 children.

I'm wondering if the older John is one of the brothers that you have listed. Do you know anything about him or his brothers?

Sherry Wolfinger
