Loten Maxwell...Civil War Vet
Posted by: Lorraine Doty (ID *****4553) Date: May 21, 2010 at 11:30:59

I am looking for information about Loten Maxwell buried at the Delay Cemetery in Knox Co IN. His tombstone says "Loten Maxwell Civil Was Vet". I am working with the township trustee to find when and where Loten served so the trustee can get him the military stone he deserves. The trustee hired us to restore this cemetery earlier this year. We found Loten's stone completely buried underground. The trustee has already obtained a new stone (while preserving the old ones) for each of the other 5 veterans in this cemetery. Thank you, Lorraine Doty, The Graveyard Guardians, Inc.
