Here is a listing of the grave stones at the Perry County "Lamb Cemetery" in Rome Ind. I am a relative of the Bubenzer clan, and this list might clear some of the dates up for you.

I think that the "Gustave" mentioned in the ship's manifest might be the Doctor from Rome as Andrea suggested. Note that
"Gustavus Bubenzer b.1839" had a grandson named "Bubenzer, Ernest E., b. Jun 3, 1907, d. Jan 11, 1984".

This fits as a family name possibly named for his uncle. Ernest was called "Bud" and was my mother's Uncle. He inherited the family farm in Rome, and his son Charles Eward of Evansville IN, owns it today.
