Peter B. Mock and his wife, Lydia Elizabeth Ramsey Mock, married in Washington Co, VA in 1857 and were listed in Clark Township, Greenwood PO, Johnson County in the 1860 census with one daughter, Mahala C. Mock. In about 1862, daughter Sarah as born. In 1863, Peter registered for the "draft" and was then living in Franklin Township and listed as married. Civil War records indicate he served for 9 months.

Lydia Mock and her daughter, Mahala, both died prior to 1870. Her husband, Peter, is back in Washington Co, VA with their daughter, Sarah, when the 1870 census was taken.

I live in Tennessee. Can anyone help me out by looking through local records to see if there is a death/burial record for Lydia and/or Mahala Mock? I will be so grateful if you can.
