seeking info on half brother - Maurice Lee Travis Lamar

I am seeking info on my mother's half brother Maurice Lee Travis. She has never met him and would like to.

Maurice was born sometime between 1931-1934 to Nell W. Slough dob 12-2-1909 death june 1985 and Carl M. Travis dob 8-15-1905 death 11-24-1989. Nell and Carl married on August 2, 1930 in Martinville.

Nell divorced Carl sometime before July 1935 and remarried Truman D. Lamar on 7-27-35.

My mother thinks Maurice's last name might have been changed to Lamar to match his stepfather's.

We have my grandfather's WWII papers that show Maurice Lee Travis receiving support. After the service, my grandfather tried to continue support and contact with his son but Nell didn't want him to do either, so for the sake of his son, he stopped. Nell wanted Maurice to think of his stepfather as his father.

Nell residence listed at the time of her death was Marion County, Indianapolis, IN. Both NEll and Carl were originally from the Johnson County IN area.

Can anyone out there point me in the right direction.

Thanks
