Hello Lorraine,
How I envy you being able to go to the Johnson Co. History Society Genealogy Room! Wish I could get back there to spend even one day.
I have been trying for a long time to get info. on my 1st great grandmother and her 4 marriages. Supposedly she wed 4 times! Grrrrrrrrrr. Would it be too much of an imposition for you to check to see if there is any info. about them, or her, when you to to the Gen. Room again?
This is the skimpy info. I have:
Ada HOLEMAN was b. 18 Oct. 1871 in Johnson Co., IN.
Supposed spouces:
Dan (Daniel?)Ealy [Aylee] bef. 26 Jan. 1871 at Nineveh, IN.
Asa Mayhugh [Mayhew] bef. 28 June 1896 (birth date of my grandmother, O'dessie Mayhugh.)
Jacob Gumm (could be Gun?)1911 in New Augusta, IN. I'm not sure if this is in Johnson Co., IN.
Geo. Murray [Murry] 1911. This marriage was supposed to have taken place in Morgan Co., IN. but the court house there doesn't have a record of this marriage.
Ada died 25 Nov. 1916. She was 45 yrs old in 1916. Place of death and burial are unk..
If you can't look for info. on Ada Holeman I will understand. It is a lot to ask.
