Hi Elizabeth,
Yes, I believe Rachel Wilkins did mention Joseph Edminster
a couple of times - but not in any great detail.
You can read Rachel's letters on the Jennings County GenWeb site - same site where you posted your query to me.

Your Edminster family is connected to my Trousdale family line. James Chapman Edminster married my gr gr grandmothers
sister - Martha J. Trousdale, daughter of my 3 great grandparents - John F. and Elizabeth (Green) Trousdale.
I believe Delilah Edminster, your ancester, came to Minnesota after the death of husband Joseph and is buried in the Dassel, Meeker Co.,MN Cemetery, located about 30 miles from where I live. My husband and I were at that cemetery last summer and took pictures of James and Martha's headstone - which is the same stone that heads my Trousdale's graves. Interesting!!
I would like to compare notes with you on our Jennings Co.
families. Contact me by my email - jboie2@lakedalelink.net
Enjoy Rachel Wilkins letters. They are precious.
Thanks,
Judy Mills Boie - Minnesota
