William Curtis b. NY abt 1780 came to Jennings abt 1818 and settled in Geneva Twp. He purchased a farm in the hills of Jennings Cty for the breeding and training of harness race horses. Spouse Agnes b. abt 1788 NY. William died bef 1830 and the farm was run by their son James B. (or Vincent) Curtis. James' daughter, Jennie, married Thomas Russell. Later the farm was run by their son, Curtis Russell.

Other children of William and Agnes MAY be P.H. Curtis and Emeline Curtis. William was allegedly one of Indiana's first pioneers.

Would anyone have knowledge of this family, particularly the ancestors of William and Agnes?

Thanks Bonnie
