Clarissa, Charlotta, Harriet and Amos Phillips

Looking for information on Clarissa Phillips b. 1850, m. 1878 to Adam McKeand. Prior to her marriage I can't find anything concerning Clarissa. The closest census I can find to her is 1850 which lists: Amos Phillips 89, Harriet Phillips 23, Amos Cook 11, Mary E. Cook 7, Charlotta 5 and Clarissa Phillips 6/12. Clarissa is listed in censuses from 1880 to 1920 as being black or mulatto, her father was German and mother Indiana born. If you can help me link this 1850 with my 2x great grandmother or know anything about Clarissa and Adam McKeand(in later censuses the name was spelled Mckand, unknown if spelling was changed by family or mistake by census taker).
Thank you,
Terry
