Thanks Larry.

I did find in Ham. Co. Oh. Historicl Society Index to Marriages - 1820-1829 - Huseford DUNHAM married Sally D JUDKINS (Jedkins) - Reference=Restored marriages at court house.

1820 Vanderburg Co. Ind., Census listed as Hexford

1830 Batavia, Clermont Co., Oh. listed as Oford

1840 Lancaster, Jefferson Co., Ind. listed as Huxford.
2 males under 5 = William b 1837 & Orson b 1839
1 male 5-10 = Jesse b 1830
1 male 10-15 = Henry
2 males 15-20 = Alpheus b 1824 & James b 1822
1 male 40-50 = Huxford
1 female 5-10 = Susan b 1835
1 female 10-15 = Adeline b 1832 - her age is but it is her, as her mother is living with her in later census.
1 female 30-40 = Sally

1850 Jeffeson Co., Ind.
Hucksford Dunham, wife Sallie, daughter Susan, sons William and Orvin.

All of his other children are close by:
(1) Alpheus & wife Mary md 1 Jan 1849 Jennings Ind. living with them brother Henry, md Emeline Duncan 12 Oct 1851.
(2) Jessie & wife Eliza md 22 Jul 1850 Jefferson Co. she was a widow. He married Sarah Sampson 4 Aug 1859 Jefferson Co.

His other two children were in Columbia, Hamilton Co., Oh.
(1) James & wife Joan Beltz md 10 Jun 1841 Jennings Ind. she was widow with children.
(2) Adeline & husband John Hutchinson b 1820 Oh. - md ca 1849 this marraige is also in Ham. Co. Oh. Historical Soc. index to marriages - Record = Restored marriages court house.

His son Orson md Amanda J Duncan (dght of David & ?) on 8 Apr 1857 Jefferson Co.Ind. Orson was killed in Civil War in Dalton, Ga. 8 Jun 1865. Amanda filled for widows pension Oct. 1865. She then married Orsons brother William (probably 1866) in Ham. Co. 1860-1869 Restored marriage records at court house. William Dunham applied for guardianship on brother Orson's civil war pension on 28 Jan 1867. 1880 census for Wm lists Orson as step-son, yet Delana as daughter and she is checked in Health as Maimed, crippled, bedridden, or otherwise disabled.

His daughter Susan md David Duncan b 1822 (father of Amanda Jane and it has been said that he was married 3-4 times) about 1856, I need to check Jefferson Co. Ind. marriage for date. They relocated also to Hamilton Co., Oh

I have not found Huxford, wife Sally and son William in 1860 census, but have located all the other children.

I do not know if Huxford died in Ind. or possibly Oh.

Sally (Jedkins) Dunham was in 1870 and 1880 Hamilon Co., Oh. living with daughters. Not found in 1900, presume she had died between 1880-1900. She may be buried in Laurel Cem., Madisonville, Cincinnati, Oh. as that is where several of her children are buried.

I am done now. If you find anything else for Huxford or his children please let me know.

Barb in Cincy, Oh.
