I am trying to learn more about Theresa (middle name Louise or Anna) Wehner born in Madison, Jefferson County, Indiana on 28 October 1855. I found her in the 1870 census in Madison, living with Moses and Barbara Kitzinger. Theresa's son Adolph Louis Hagedorn received a bible from "Grandmother Kitzinger" in 1883, so we are sure this is the correct Theresa Wehner. I assume that Theresa's father died (in the Civil War perhaps?) and her mother remarried. Any information about the Wehner family in Madison Indiana would be greatly appreciated.
