Death of Lady one Hundred and Eleven Years old

Madison, Nov 9. Sarah Mosley age 111, died last night in this city at the residence of her son-in-law Owen Bare. There is but one person older than she in the United States. Mr. Nero Giswold age 120 of MeMinneville,Tn., who beat the drum for Washington during the Revolution. She has seven children living, the oldest Mrs. Renfrowe of New Albany, being aged eight-seven,.Until sex years ago she was very active, taking long walks until she fell down stairs and injured her thigh. About three years ago her hair turned from white to black, its original color. Her funeral takes place tomorrow. Her remains will be taken to Mount/Bird, KY for interment. She was a native of North Carolina and her madam name was Ballow.When a child she lived in Virginia and afterwards in Kentucky, where she was married at the age of 13 years old. One of her brothers was with Gen Jackson at the battle of New Orleana.In her childhood she witnessed some of the stirring scenes of the Revolution, beside encountering the privation and dangers of Frontier life
