Harriett DYER apprenticed to David SUTTON, 1833, Jefferson County, Indiana

I'm interested in the Harriett Dyer who is mentioned in Jefferson County, Indiana, Apprenticeship Records: "DYER, Harriett W. (H-467) Oct. 7, 1833. Whose mother is dead and father denied said child, now 4 yrs 6 mos to David Sutton until 18 yrs of age." This child may have been illegitimate, and Dyer may have been her mother's maiden name.

I believe this may be my long-sought Harriet M. Dyer, born in Louisiana 1828/29, who married Sherod J. Pittman in 1848 in Bartholomew County. According to the 1880 census of Jefferson County, Harriet's father was born in Ohio and her mother in New York.

Please contact me if you have any further information on the Harriett Dyer who was apprenticed to David Sutton. For example, did she appear again in the record when her apprenticeship ended (1847)? Did she marry?
