Yes, actually, I'm quite interested. I have the complete Warfield family tree for my line going back to the original Richard Warfield in 1465, Somersetshire, England. The John H. Warfield you mention is actually Gamaliel's brother, John H. Warfield, Jr. He was born in 1824.He would be my gr. gr. gr. uncle. He was the son of John H. Warfield, of Anne Arundel County, Md. and Lydia Gordon of Henry County Kentucky. It was a Warfield trait to marry distant cousins or step family members of wives in order to retain property and money ownership. So the Elinor and Eliza Copeland marriages are not a surprise but rather ordinary occurrences in the family.
This is the correct Eliza information and I thank you much for the info. If there is any more that I can share with you let me know. My info is almost exclusively Warfield, Ridenour, and Wollam. That is why my interests now lie with Lytle, Copeland and so forth.
