Hi Jay,

In your post, you mentioned William B. PINGRY's son named Oliver who married Catharine Shelton.

I have census transcripts from 1860 through 1900 showing William B. Pingry & wife Mary J. I do not find a son Oliver listed.

Evidently, Mary J. PINGRY died between 1900 & 1910 because on the 1910 Coal Creek Twp., Pawnee Co., OK, William is shown with a new wife, Lou, age 36 & a son, Arthur, age 12.

This is confusing because Arthur would have been born in 1898 while William's first wife Mary J. was alive. The 1900 census shows that she hand no children.

Do you have a birth date/place for Oliver? What are your thoughts about the son Arthur mentioned on the 1910 census?

Sincerely,

Fred Downs
