The death of MISS JULIA BAKER occurred Tuesday morning at her home in this city. MISS BAKER was born in Jackson County, Ind., Aug. 22, l849. She has suffered from the effects of a cancer for several months.

Funeral services were held at the house yesterday at 11 a.m. and the body laid to rest in the Burrell Cemetery on the old S.L. Craig farm north of town. The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. Joseph Edwards.
