The only thing that comes to mind right off is that there was an advanced twin engine flight training base here in Seymour during WW 2. Freeman Field Army Air Force Base operated from 1942 to sometime in 1945 as a training base for pilots who would fly multi-engine aircraft, such as bombers and cargo planes. Other than that I am not sure what it would be. Is there any other information on the badge?
