Booker - Jackson County, Indiana 1850

I have been trying to find out why my father's middle name was Booker; however, I have had no success. My Carlile family lived in Jackson County, Indiana around 1850 when my great grandfather was born there. I believe that there was at least one family named Booker living there at about the same time.

I believe Monica Jackson was researching the Booker name in Jackson County, but I have been unable to connect with her email address. I would greatly appreciate it if Monica or anyone with a Jackson County, Indiana Booker connection would contact me regarding any Booker families that may have lived there. My Carlile family moved from Jackson County, Indiana to Iowa and then Kansas, if that helps.
