I am looking for descendents of James Bailey Gentry and Carrie B. Coyle Gentry. James and Carrie were married on 18 February 1897 in Madison Co., Kentucky, James's second marriage and Carrie's first. James's first wife was Minerva Asbell, they had five children before they divorced, I am descended from their son Winfred.
James and Carrie had, I believe, eleven children, their names were; Virgil, Willie Ann, Buren, Ulebert, Earl, Mary Ellen, Tiletha, Luther D., Oliver Paul, Vera and Alta. Several of these children were born in Kentucky, but the family moved to first Wayne Co., Indiana and then to Henry Co., Indiana. James died in 1943 and is buried in Locust Grove Cemetery.
I am hoping to find someone from this family who would be willing to share some information with me about my gr. gr. grandfather, James Bailey Gentry.
