Thomas Smith & Thomas L Pitman - 1860 Census - Hendricks Co

Does anyone have any info on the Thomas L Pitman in the 1860 Census of Hendricks Co, IN ? He is with the family of Thomas Smith born ca 1818 KY

I also have a Thomas L Pitman(Pittman) , born Virginia, in ca 1807 and he is not in the 1860 Census for Franklin Co , KY with a few of his other children. Also missing from the census here are his wife Nancy , born abt 1818 KY , and daughters Mary born ca 1849 & Sarah ( Sallie ) born 1852.

I am hoping someone there can claim him , as to prove he is not my Thomas , as I had always thought he had died by 1858-1861 as Nancy later remarried in 1862 in Franklin Co, Ky

Any thoughts or ideas are needed ... thank you

David
