What a surprise...I came on to the Hendricks County forum for the first time hoping to find some kind person who might do some lookups for me...and there on TOP of the list was your offer. Thank you so much for doing this...even if you do not find my family.
I am looking for Margaret Ann Peugh who married Alexander McKnight in 1854. They were in the 1860 through 1880 census in Guilford Twp. and then their son Robert was there in 1900. Margaret Ann had remarried to Samuel Little by then. Their families were both grown and each was raising a grandchild in the 1900 census. Samuel was listed as age 90 so I don't expect to find him in 1910. I looked quickly for the McKnight children but since Robert was the only male child he was the only one I found. I had names of supposed spouses for some of the daughters but the source was a bit "iffy" so I didn't find them...One was James Kirly and I think this may have been Kirtley as a grandson Otis Kirtley was living with Margaret in 1900. Another was either Everett Edmund or Edmund Everett...and the other was P. W. Morgan. I am hoping Alexander McKnight was listed in the History and Biographies of the county...if not I will have to find someone who has access to Marriage books for this county. I cannot find the children as adults if I don't know their spouses names.
Thank you again whether or not you find anything.Darline Duncan
