Hiram Nausler m. Mary McClure (b. abt. 1822, OH) in Hendricks Co. on 21 July 1844 (Book 2, p. 254). Mary was the dau. of James and Jane ? McClure. In 1850, Hiram and Mary were living in Henry Co., IA with children, Harriet J.,5,IN, Belinda C., 3, IN, and Martha Ann, 1, IA. Other members of the McClure family were also living in Henry Co.

In 1880, on the census for Dallas, Taylor Co., IA were Hiram, 61m TN, farmer, both parents b. in VA, living with his son-in-law, William Andrews, 36, OH, farmer, Fa. b OH, Mo. b. TN; his wife, Hattie, 35, IN, Fa. TN, Mo. OH, their sons, Henry, 5, IA, and Harvey, 3, IA. Mary, Hiram's wife had apparently died before this. William was shown as head of household.

I have more on the McClures but not much more on the Nauslers.
