Penny:

In looking at the 1910 census record in the family of Alfred and Amanda Voyles I see Cora A. age 20 single, one child born, one living , and that child no doubt was the Ruby C. Ranel as indexed age 1 9/12( the penmanship was very heavy and it was only a guess as to the surname) I checked around for someone with a name like that and found none. However the first letter of the name could have been a "P". I entered Pan** and soundex, and the only male in Harrison county in 1900 was a Pierce B. Pennel b 1873, still in the county in 1910 unmarried. This is only a guess on my part that he could be the father of Ruby. However her father could have moved a long distance away. So I didn't find out very much for you. Had you seen the 1910 census?

Howard Boswell
