Margaret Welch and Asabel Tabler 1830 - 1900

I am interested in Peter Tabler's son Asabel, who married Margaret Welch 1830 in Harrison County, IN. My research interest is on the Welch side. Does anyone have any additional information about this family?

From census and cemetery records, Peter seems to have been born in Maryland 1766 and died Harrison/Floyd Co 1854.

Asabel seems to have been born in Kentucky 1809 and died Harrison/Floyd Co 1885. Margaret Welch born Virginia 1807 and died Harrison/Floyd Co 1888.

Their children that I know of are:
William Henry b. 5-1-1833 d. 2-24-1858
John S b. 3-16-1842 d. 4-16-1869
Margaret b. 5-13-1843 d. 12-11-1882
George W b 8-29-1841(or 1846?) d 8-31-1864
Asabel D b. ca. 1847
Peter A/H b. ca. 1848
Mary E b. ca. 1852

Any additional information about Peter's migration to Indiana in 1812 - where else he may have lived in Kentucky or other states? I am trying to track how my Welch's ended up in Indiana.

Any other info about this Welch/Tabler family would be appreciated.
