I have information concerning Levi Harbaugh born 12 SEP 1844 and died 19 MAY 1899. His first marriage was to Georgianna Carter and his second was to Sarah Jane Turley. He served in the Civil War and was later was professor of botany at the United Brethren College in Hartsville, IN. later he served as superintendent of schools at Corydon, IN. Any of his female descendents are eligible for membership in the Daughters of the Union. They are also eligible for membership in the DAR through Christian Harbaugh's service in the Revolutionary War. My husband is a member of the SAR through Christian's service. Evelyn Harper jackson
