Thank you so much for information on Naomi White. Edward Earl's middle name may have been Richard as on land transfers given by Naomi's father he is call Richard. They were married in Hancock Co., 15 Jan 1852. Naomi's parents were Charles White and Elizabeth McCray. I was just looking at my Whites, I have a Thomas McKown md to a Margaret McClelland bn ca 1793 Ireland The spelling is similar to yours, could their be a connection? I have only 4 childen listed for Philander and Sarah Ellen Earl, Clara ca 1860, Laura ca 1868, Eva 1874, Florance ca 1877, this information came from the 1880 census, there may be more children on earlier censuses, but I wasn't looking for him when I looked at them. Is there a relationship between Alfred Thomas and Philander? Thanks again!!!
