Sharon - thank you so much for your nice reply. My brother, Dr. Keith L. Curry and his wife Sandy from Clearwater, FL visited Curry's Chapel this Sept. (and were treated royally by the people there) visited where the original Curry cabins had been. They did much research but could not find Isaiah and Catherine's graves. Was just too long ago. We have there wedding in the First Marriage Book of Augusta County, VA which we purchased in Staunton, VA when we were there in May. It was just too long ago to find tombstones. We have a copy of a Samuel Curry's will stating William, Isaiah, Samuel and Mary as children. We have pictures of a lot of Currys' tombstones from old Fort Defiance Cemetery in VA, possibly uncles and cousins but we are not sure. Ny brother got the books History of Hancock County and The Pioneer for me when they were in Hancock County and it talks about Isaiah and his founding of Curry Chapel but no mention of burial. Thanks again Leola (Lee) Curry Meraz.
