Seeking any information on Col. George W. JACKSON who recorded Charlottesville, Hancock Co., IN as his home address when he enlisted in 1864 in the Civil War as commander of the 9th Cavalry-Indiana Volunteers (121st Regiment). Eli Lilly (founder of the drug company) served under him. I would appreciate dates of birth, marriage, spouse info, death and parent, children, and brothers & sisters info also for this veteran.
