I am trying to trace my 2nd great grandfather's parents, William Trussell (b. abt 1837, Pennsylvania) and his wife, Hannah Price (b. abt 1844, Ohio). William and Hannah were married in Grant County, Indiana, January 21, 1863. The 1870 Census shows they lived in Marion, Grant County, Indiana. The 1870 Census shows a William Trussell living with his wife Hanata (Census has it spelled as Hanata)and children Elnora (could possibly be Ida Elnora Trussell), Charles W (could be William C Trussell) and Luella 5 months. The 1880 Census has William as a widower living with his children William C Trussell and Ida Elnora Trussell in Harrison, Blackford, Indiana. Hannah/Hanata and Luella must have died sometime between 1870 and 1880. I believe Hanata to be Hannah. I found an 1850 census with a Richard Price and Catherine Price living in Marion with a daughter Hannah A Price and 1860 Census with the same family living in Washington. I was wondering if this could be the Hannah Price I am looking for. If anyone has any information on these people, I would appreciate contact. i may be reached at gliv@bellsouth.net.
