Daniel, There is a gentleman who is active in restoration and researching cemeteries. His name is Mark Davis and he might know if there ever was a stone for Samuel. In the DAR listing of interments ca. 1940's, there isa listing under Dennis, Joseph son of Samuel & Elizabeth Dennis died June 25, 1859 aged 36y.6m.7d. And Samuel died July 25, 1863, aged 77y.7m.23d. If you are interested in the listing, you can download from ingenweb,grant co. cemeteries. Also Mark Davis can be reached at 1-765-348-2650 or MD9105@skyenet.net; his business is Stone Saver Cemetery Restoration, 4 Lakeview Court, Hartford City, In.47348.
