Dear Barb, This is another match up, our forebears were very prolific. My mother was baby of her family, and I was last (1937), so growing up in the war years, did not visit or see much of the relatives outside of Marion. You mentioned Polsleys, they also lived in that area behind the school, and Mom always said we were distant relates but she did not know exact links. Mom also worked at Freels Drug Store, cooking and waitressing from 1957 to 1978, after my Dad passed. She was fired at age 79 because she told a gal to put on her hair net, the new half manager told her we don't need you. Within a short time the counter was gone then the whole place soon followed. Too much big chain competition.
Anyway, am firing up the copier and will send you a packet soon. Just let me know where to send it.
Cousin Barb Balas
