I have posted much of the line of Azariah Ayers to a public tree at ancestry.com under "Some Ayers and Kin"

That might prove helpful.

A will was discovered this summer in Washington CO, PA, proving Azariah Ayers, pioneer blacksmith of Gibson County, was the son of Joseph and Esther (Doty) Ayers. Joseph died in 1820, and in his will, names Azariah Ayers of Gibson CO, IN, his oldest son. Still trying to prove the wife of Azariah , Mary, was the daughter of Christopher Van Arsdal, Rev War veteran. B
