Joseph WOODS & 11 children in TN from 1788-1806, John m Mary DICKSON; James m Nancy DIXON; Margaret m Samuel HOGE/HOGUE, Patrick m Jane HANNA, Joseph L m Elizabeth HANNA, WM P unm; David m Esther WITHERSPOON; Isaac m Elizabeth WITHERSPOON, Jane m Samuel HOGE/HOGUE Jr; Elizabeth m Wm EMBREE and Samuel Hamilton m Ann McMILLAN Family moved to Indiana. son James oldest children married here we believe. This line has a DNA report and seeks matching information. Joseph served in Revolution from Virginia in the 7th VA under Capt Benj Biggs. He sold land in Rockbridge County VA in 1781.
