Meyer, Alosius 29 farmer IN Alsace Prussia
Meyer, Johana 25 wife keeping house IN PRU PRU
Meyer, Benard 5 son IN
Meyer, John 2 son IN
Meyer, Casper 4mos son IN
Loders, Henry bro-in-law 19 farm hand IN PRU PRU
Loders, Elizabeth sis-in-law 12 at home IN PRU PRU
next door:
Meyer, Anton 20 head farmer IN Alsace Prussia
Meyer, Mary K 21 wife keeping house IN Alsace PRU

I might have found the key. Take a look at this 1870 census:

Appling, John 60 farmer Prussia
Appling, Bendina 50 keeping house Prussia
Meir, Alloway 20 farm laborer IN (Aloysius)
Meir, Anton 18 farm laborer IN
Benforth, John 15 farm laborer IN
Benforth, Margaret 13

I know it's stretching things, but I think this is the Bankford family below. Germans often switched back and forth between their multiple first and middle names - notice that "Lewis" could be Aloysius, and Anton, John and Margaret are the right age:
Henry Bangford 28 farmer FRA
Catherine Bangford 38 FRA
Christian Bangford 14 IN
Lewis Bangford 10 IN
Anton Bangford 8 IN
John Bangford 6 IN
Margaret Bangford 4

Going back to 1850, I now believe this is the wife's first marriage. Benedicia (or whatever her name was) married Joseph Myre first, Henry Bankford second, then John Appling third.

Joseph Myre 35 GER
Benedicia Myre 27 GER
Joseph Myre 9 IN
George Myre 4 (could be Christian above?) IN
Elisabeth Myre 6mos IN
