Fishers in Gibson County

think my gr grandfather was William B.(Bradley) Fisher, listed as a son of Daniel B. Fisher (b 1811?) in the 1860 Census. There is no wife listed in 1860; however, in 1850 there is a wife, Catherine (b 1810?). My guess is they were married about 1845, based on the age of the oldest child listed. In 1850 they were in Posey, in 1860 in Gibson, Smith townshp. Are they one and the same? Were they both part of a larger county? My William B. Fisher was supposedly born in Warrick County. Is it all nearby? The Daniel B. Fisher, father, is listed as a blacksmith in both censuses. Do you see any marriages in Gibson/Posey around 1845 between Daniel Fisher and Catherine unknown?

Daniel B.'s father may have been Daniel Fisher (b. 1778-d. 1811 at Battle of Tippecanoe) and had moved west to Posey/Gibson. He was married to a Julia Armstrong (b. 1782 in NC.) Their children may have included: Jackson John Fisher, Thomas W. Fisher, Daniel B. Fisher (above) and Jordan A Fisher...if I'm on the right track.

This Daniel's parents may have been Daniel Fisher (b before 1850-d.1797 in NC), married Margaret Kress in 1774 in PA. Their children were Moleston,Jonathon, Nathan, John, Thomas, Daniel, Theodorus, Sarah, Mary, Hannah. I may be entirely wrong about this Daniel, only the dates are close enough, don't know about the details! Can you shed any light?
