SOPHIA KRAMER WAS BORN 1838 AND DIED 1912

Emma E. Kilmer
Emma E. KILMER, a resident at 607 East Ninth street for the past 37 years, died at 11:30
oclock last night at her home from a heart attack. In ill health for the past two months, she was 76
years old.
Born Feb. 18, 1873, in Fulton county, she came to Rochester in 1912 from a farm east of
here. In 1891 she was married to W. O. KILMER, who preceded her in death Feb. 4, 1945. A
housewife, she was the daughter of John and Sophia CRAMER McKITRICK and a member of the
Methodist church.
Survivors are a son, Robert KILMER, South Bend; a daughter, Mrs. Irene FYVIE,
Oakland, Calif; and sister, Mrs. Della ONETH, Jett, Okla; three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
A son, Dean [KILMER], died Dec., 16, 1946.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Zimmerman Bros. funeral home. The
Rev. Thomas LUKE will officiate and burial will be at the Rochester IOOF cemetery. Friends
may call at the funeral home.
