Yes, there was a seminary in Oldenburg for Franciscan priests and brothers. Eventually it was just for brothers. It was still open in the 60's, but has since closed. Contact the the St. Anthony Friary and Shrine on Colerain Ave. in Cincinnati.

The seminary in Oldenburg was connected to the Cincinnati province of Franciscans, and I suspect that St. Anthony's has the old records, or can tell you how to contact whomever does have them.
