These are the children of Isaiah Washington Dyer and Martha A.F.Glenn . The youngest is my GG Grandfather Herman Dyer . The family was from the Rutherford/Williamson County , Tennessee area but several of its members moved into the Louisville/New Albany area . I would like to know more about Herman's siblings :

1.) JOHN DYER (SON ) BORN - 18 OCT 1860 IN WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TN -HE MARRIED ON 18 OCT 1883 TO LAURA TENNISON CORBIT -HE DIED 1 JUNE 1933

2.) FRANCES DYER - BORN CA. LATE 1864 ( DAUGHTER )

3.) WILLIAM DYER - BORN 1866 HIS WIFE'S NAME WAS
MARY .

4.) EMMA ( DAUGHTER ) ( MAY HAVE HAD A LEGAL NAME OF ELIZABETH ) DYER BORN IN 1868 - MARRIED TO ? SIMMONS .
SHE WAS F.E. DYER WHO IS BURIED AT PATE CEMETERY WITH HER SISTER ANNIE .

5.)        JAMES DYER - BORN 1870 IN RUTHERFORD COUNTY, TN





6.) WASHINGTON DYER " WASH " DYER - BORN 1875 IN RUTHERFORD COUNTY, TN - DIED AFTER 1945 IN LOUSIVILLE, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TN - HE WAS A NEWSPAPER MAN WHO HAD A SON WHO WORKED FOR THE FBI AND HE MAY HAVE AT ONE POINT . MY GRANDMOTHER WHO WAS BORN IN 1940 REMEMBERS HIM WHEN SHE WAS A LITTLE GIRL .

7.) ANNIE DYER ( DAUGHTER ) - BORN 1877 -IN RUTHERFORD COUNTY,TN . SHE MARRIED TO DR. BUD WATSON AND HAD ISSUE OF AT LEAST TWO DAUGHTERS -NAMES UNKNOWN . SHE IS BURIED AT WATSON CEMETEY

Location : 2oth District on the Williamson County line on the north side of Patterson Road
{ also called New Road and Possum Trot Road }
Directions : From Nolensville Road , HGWY 31A, turn east on Patterson Road., pass Halley Lane which runs north ; the cemetery is .3 mile past Haley Lane right by the side of the road .

HERMAN ENGLISH DYER SR . -BORN 28 FEB 1882 - NEAR THE CITY OF OLD HICKORY IN WHAT IS NOW WILSON COUNTY,TN -HIS FATHER DIED WHEN HE WAS SIX YEARS OLD - HE WAS LISTED AS FARM LABOR FOR HIS MOTHER IN 1900 RUTHERFORD COUNTY, TN CENSUS AND HE MARRIED TO MAGGIE BLATTON IN 1901- IN RUTHERFORD COUNTY - COUNTY COURT CLERK IN RUTHERFORD COUNTY FOUND BOND ISSUE CERTIFICATE FOR 1901 BUT WITH NO EXACT DATE - HE HAD FOUR CHILDREN BY THIS ISSUE -ONE WHOM DIED JUST BEFORE HER SIXTH BIRTHDAY . HE THEN MOVED TO MURFRESSBORO AND THEN TO NASHVILLE, TN -HE WAS A STREET CAR DRIVER AND LOST A LEG IN AN ACCIDENT . MAGGIE DIED IN RUTHERFORD COUNTY IN 1911 AND HIS MOTHER AND DAUGHTER IN WILLIAMSON COUNTY IN 1912 ALL OF TB . HE MOVED TO LOUISVILLE, JEFFERSON COUNTY, KY WHERE HE MARRIED DELLA ANN BURNETT ( 28 AUG 1895 -LEITCHFILED, GRAYSON COUNTY,KY - 3 AUG 1993 - NEW ALBANY, FLOYD COUNTY, IN ) . SHE WAS THE DAUGHTER OF ANDERSON WARREN BERNARD BURNETT AND HIS WIFE ADA BRUCE . HERMAN AND FAMILY THEN MOVED TO HARRISON COUNTY,IN WHERE HE OWNED A HOME AT ELIZABETH, INDIANA - THE FAMILY LIVED THEIR UNTIL 1924 WHEN THEY MOVED TO FLOYD COUNTY, INDIANA . HE WAS A BUSINESS OWNER AND GROCERY STORE OWNER WHO SUFFERED THE 1937 OHIO RIVER FLOOD . HE DIED ABOVE HIS GROCERY -DYER AND SON AT 7OO E. CHERRY STREET - CORNER OF 7TH AND CHERRY IN NEW ALABNY, FLOYD COUNTY, IN AND IS BURIED AT FAIRVIE CEMETERY ON WEST 8TH STREET -NEW ALBANY, FLOYD COUNTY, IN WITH HIS WIFE AND TWO SONS , A PLOT FOR A THIRD IS SON IS THERE AS WELL. HE AND DELLA HAD SEVEN CHILDREN BY THIS ISSUE ONE WAS MY GREAT GRAND MOTHER -LUCILLE MARIE DYER -BORN 9 APRIL 1923 AT ELIZABETH, HARRISON COUNTY, IN .
