Conersville is suppose to be hosting "Heritage Days" April 12-13, 2008. In the paper it said to contact the parks and recreation dept. for more info. They are suppose to have maps for self guided tours of the Pioneer Cemeteries of Fayette County. I have been to Lick Creek cemetery and there are several old tombstones damaged and knocked down and back into the trees. There is suppose to be a discussion/class on tombstone restoration also. Some old cemetery records get sent to the public library when there is no one to take car of them, however I went in January 2008 and there were a few graves that were recently dug. hope this helps!!!
