Laurel is in Franklin County. There were no Burts in the 1850 Fayette Census, but there were three Burts in the Franklin Census. Alonzo Burt is listed in Laurel Twp.

What I assume is your Moses Burt is only listed in Fayette during 1830. There is an Albert M Burt in Orange Twp Fayette in 1840 and then Richland Rush Co in 1860.
