Solomom and Ella Burns Ulery were my great grandparents. Suzanne Butt ulery, who lived with them, though never officially adopted by them was my grandmother. She and her brother John and sister Kate came by an orphan train from Boston to northern Indiana. she was placed in a home in Goshen, John went on to South Bend and Kate ended up in Iowa. My mother was Maurine Ulery who married Carl Cozzi in Goshen. Suzanne married Jerome Purl Ulery, whose father was Jake Ulery. They had five children, Kenneth, Maurine, Jane, william and Phyllis. None of the children are living. Phyllis's husband, Chet Alheim, still resided in Goshen as does one of his sons.
