I was looking up obits when I happened to run across this article in the newspaper.

Information required under New indiana Statute is procured by Trustee Sigerfoos---Two Spanish War Veterans

Supplementrary Enumeration of persons living in Concord township outside of Elkhart city who served in the Army or navy of the United States during the Mexican War, Civil, or Spanish-American War has been comp;eted by Trustee W. J. Sigerfoos. Eughteen Civil War veterans and two National Guardsmen who are also Spanish War veterans are named in the Trustee's list.
