family TODT in Elkhart, IN

I'm looking for my ancestors TODT, who came from Germany to the USA in 1881. I don't know, where they first settled, but they are in the 1900 Indiana census with address in Elkhart. (In the 1920 Indiana census, they are still in Elkhart.)
The family then were Friedrich Wilhelm (aka William) TODT, wife Emma, children Ida, Wilhelm, Charles and Edward. As far as I know, they were the only TODTs in Indiana.
If you can provide any information about the TODTs of Elkhart, it would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!

With kind regards from GERMANY,
czett@gmx.de
