Jim,

I have more accurate information now but would like to id Gladys.

I have George Hess m. to Nettie Frakes who have a daughter following their marriage in 1885; her name is Minnie E. Hess, which might be short for Minerva. However, I have Minerva marrying a "Shortridge." Do you have a previous marriage of Minerva (Jos.) Smith to a Shortridge?

Then Gladys would be the daughter of Minnie and Joseph Smith?
